Understanding Hormone Replacement Therapy: What I Wish More Women Knew

Updated: Jun 23

When I entered surgically-induced menopause, I was blindsided. I expected hot flashes and mood swings — but I didn’t expect the soul-deep fatigue, the anxiety, or the way I felt completely disconnected from my body.

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) gave me my life back — and now it’s something I talk about with clients nearly every day.

Here’s what I wish more women knew about HRT:

1. It’s not just for hot flashes.

Hormones influence brain function, muscle tone, metabolism, sleep, and even your sense of self. HRT can help with:

  • Mood stability

  • Mental clarity

  • Muscle maintenance

  • Sleep quality

  • Libido

2. Bioidentical doesn’t mean ‘unnatural’.

I use bioidentical hormones that match the molecular structure of what your body produces. This allows for more natural results with less risk.

3. It’s not one-size-fits-all.

Every woman’s journey is different — and your hormone support should reflect that. My job is to help you understand your lab results and build a safe, tailored plan just for you.

So if you’ve been told to “just deal with it” — don’t. You deserve to feel good in your body. And I’m here to help you get there.
